Nej. Plåten på denna är av ytanodiserad (silver) aluminium.

Polera annars. Jag har gjort det med aluminium på andra förstärkare.
Då har jag andvänt polermaskin/pasta avsedd för polering av billack. Men det funkar säkert lika bra med en lammullstrissa och en borrmaskin.
Med Autosol (kromglans) så öppnar sig porrrna i aluminium och det blir svart gegga, men torkar man bort den med en mjuk trasa så brukar aluminumet få en spegelblank yta.
De öppna porerna måste då stängas för att hindra oxidering. Jag har då använt bilvax.
