Plinth:
The plinth is a 7 layer sandwich construction, made in 4 different materials. This construction is stiff and 'dead' when knocking on it, but not 'overdead' which can kill the life and overtones ind the music.
Available in shiny- and silky mat finish.
-Feets:
The plinth is standing on 3 special designed adjustable feets. Different feets will have a different influence on the sound from the unit. The coupling between the unit/feet/shelf is much more 'direct', rather than a threaded feet.
-Platter/bearing:
The platter floats on air, as model Sindre, but it's also centred by air- (no spindle) which means that the bearing noise is even lower! No oil is required, as there are no mechanical contact - it will "last forever"...
Furthermore, the platter have a vacuum hold down, which will flatten and doing a powerful grip on the record. The record can be changed without turning of the vacuumpump.I consider to offer the
record mat in different materials, which means the customer can 'finetune' to the prefered sound character.
-Tonearm:
The carbon armtube/headshell is handmade in one piece, to optimize the stiffness. Assembly of the parts in the complete tonearm, is optimized to obtain an optimum stiffness, and resonances control.
It can be adjusted in all angles, in one step at a time. VTA can be adjusted when playing. All adjustments are done from the topside. Sleipner is even more userfriendly than Sindre, when set up and daily operating.
-Powersupply:
The seperate powersupply is the same ultimate design as the Sindre. Furthermore, it contains a digital motor controller. In the buttomside of the motors rotor, there is a disc with 1024 counts/rev., which is monitored and regulated by the motor controller, 500 times per second, which secure an ultimate speed stability. The motor and controller is designed to fit each other, constructed by a specialist in small drivesolutions in Switzerland.
-Airsupply:
The airsupply is a heavy construction, and contains both airpump and vacuumpump, and with the filters and condens drain as in Sindre.

The CPA8000 is the ultimate high end reference product and is the perfect partner to the SPM14000 mono block amplifiers. In the same double height format to match it has all the features of the already
advanced CPA5000 but now includes three pairs of outputs, true dual mono construction with separate power supplies for each channel, and separate left and right frequency EQ adjust.
Using two separate ultra high frequency power supplies gives the best possible channel separation and with our latest low noise circuitry the noise floor performance has been improved to beyond -135dB.
Each of the power supplies and the sensitive volume, balance and EQ controls is surrounded by solid milled aluminium shielding to prevent RF interference.
Extra flexibility is now offered with three pairs of fully balanced XLR or unbalanced RCA phono outputs. Selection can be made manually via the front panel or using the supplied remote control.
Every input has six levels of adjustable gain that can be individually selected to prevent large changes in volume when switching between inputs. All settings are stored via the microprocessor even if power is removed.
On the front panel are the separate frequency EQ adjust controls for the left and right channels. Both the low and high frequencies can be adjusted to suit the room requirements. Each control rotates a
milled aluminium disc with graduated adjustment levels clearly visible through the magnified and illuminated viewing port.
Signal detection is via the highly accurate VU meters with BBC ballistics which are incorporated into the front panel display. These give both clear signal detection and accurate input level. Naturally these may be selected or disabled as required. For headphone connectivity there are two low distortion, low
noise headphone output jack sockets easily accessible on the front panel.

Goldmund Telos 350
The Telos 350 is built with a new full-aluminum Mechanical Grounding asymmetrical construction. This design allows keeping it at a reasonable size (and price) and makes it easily stackable. This was rendered necessary by the recent introduction of the 2-channel Proteus, a tremendous improvement in the driving of the best speakers, but one that requires several mono power amplifiers. This means that the price to pay to obtain Proteus was quickly becoming quite expensive for the amateur of complex speakers, not talking about the obtrusive space taken.
The Telos 350 real power will remain undisclosed... But the company says it will be much more powerful than a Telos 400 despite its reasonable price. Knowing that the Telos 600 has been recently discontinued, you may conclude that it can drive quite anything. In addition, the Telos 350 is the first amplifier that can be mixed with the existing Telos 2500, Telos 1000 or Telos 600 in a Proteus configuration, providing a substantial economy on large Proteus systems such as the Full Goldmund Epilogue. The Telos 350 can drive its tweeters and even the Epilogue 1 Signature woofers.
The internal circuit is seriously improved over the previous Telos and largely inspired by the recent Telos 5000, Goldmund masterpiece, and its future successor the Telos 3500 (more about this later). Using the same type of capacitors, a revised input circuit and no less than an Alize 6 D/A circuit, the only sacrifice on the Telos 350 is the suppression of the analog level control. Its approximate 3dB steps are rendered unnecessary by the easy adjustment to the half dB inside a Goldmund universal preamplifier. To improve the peace of mind of clients who use several Telos 350, its protection circuitry is the most advanced of any Telos amplifier so far; it makes it perfectly safe in case of short-circuit and many other typical electrical incidents.
Last, but not least, the Telos 350 provides an internal connection for an optional pluggable DSP board, just like the U-Telos amplifiers of the Goldmund Media Room. Connectable to a laptop by an USB connector, the future DSP board will allow Amplitude, Phase and Delay to be adjusted to set the Telos 350 in any configuration, including a complete Media Room environment.

Coincident Speaker Technology is thrilled to introduce the Pure Reference Extreme Loudspeakers. The Extremes use the identical drivers, crossovers, internal wiring, and binding posts as the Pure Reference. The difference between them is that the Extreme physically separates the enclosures for the mids/highs and the woofers.
The benefits of the Extremes are as follows:
1. Separation of the enclosures reduces vibrations and enhances cabinet rigidity. The interaction of the woofers with the mids/highs is more effectively isolated. Sonically, this translates to greater purity and transient precision;
2. Monitor- The connection from the midrange to the binding post eschews any wire at all. The crossover inductor is a direct, hardwire connection to the driver and the binding posts.
The Pure Reference, due to its size, requires a 5 ft cable to connect the crossover to the binding posts.
The wire connecting the tweeter to the binding post has been reduced from 5 ft in the PR to 4" in the Extreme. The aural affect is enhanced transparency and immediacy.
The small Monitor enclosure( just large enough to house the 2 drivers) reduces diffraction affects dramatically which results in a more open soundstage with greater focus.
Additionally, the front baffle is sloped which results in perfect time alignment between the drivers.The sonic consequence is disarming realism in reproduction.
3. Woofer- The wider stance (13" vs 9" for the PR) and shorter height ( 33" vs 55" for the PR) results in greater physical stability which reduces micro movement of the enclosure.
Furthermore, the extra width moves the back of the side firing woofers 4" further away from the enclosure wall. This minimizes reflections back to the woofer which slightly reduces non linear cone motion at very high SPLs. The bass of the Extreme has a tad more weight and impact than the Pure Reference.
