Pia Fridhill Trio - Triptychon Part I - It's Time

Soulful acoustic music - voice, acoustic guitar, acoustic bass

Calm and intense, vulnerable and passionate. A strong voice and minimum instrumentation create a musical landscape that leads you somewhere beyond.

Listen and "... let the world slide".

Triptychon Part I - "It´s time" is the first step of a journey ...

Snapapple String Society
Squidlilly

The soundtrack for sitting on a deck overlooking a river, daydreaming of Doc Watson, rain, an acoustic disco in Barcelona, your first crush, and Havana. Acoustic Eclectica.

The Snapapple String Society is David Parker, a guitar player for almost thirty years and general-clanker-about on several other instruments, including bass, mandolin, and a strange open-back banjo creature rescued from his father-in-law’s attic and tuned as an octave mandolin (making it either an Irish tenor or a “MANjo”). The songs on "Squidlilly" are all multi-track instrumentals featuring Parker on all instruments, recorded in his very own guest room on his steam-driven Fostex digital recorder. The music is acoustic eclectica, ranging from upbeat old time ("Red Haired Boy") to Celtic ("Potcheen") to Latin ("The Most Beautiful CIA Agent in Havana") to blues ("South of Chicago") to Flamenco-Funk ("Flamunky," of course) to modern ambient acoustic music ("The Best Year"). Play this music for your plants and they will grow 20% faster! Play this music for your children and they will be 20% more charming! Play this music for yourself and you will be 35% more relaxed and four times as attractive!

Paul Lemire
Big Yellow Moon EP

Jack Johnson meets Paul Simon meets Dave Matthews meets John Mayer. Sit back, relax, play this album all the way through while driving to and from work. Good songwriting and original, organic acoustic sound.

Music began playing a significant role in my life during my high school days when my oldest sister, Dani, would play Joe Jackson albums on our way to school in the mornings. After a few months of being force-fed albums like "Night and Day", "Big World", and "Jumpin' Jive" I was eventually hooked. Since then, I've always been in anticipation of his next album and soon began discovering new bands and sounds that ultimately led me to pick up a guitar, teach myself to play, and then write my own songs. I've had some success in the recordings I've made as I was a Finalist in two separate categories of the 2003 John Lennon Songwriting Contest for songs that can be found on my first CD "Wherever You Decide." ("Oliver" and "Stuck", Children's and Folk categories, respectively.) "Stuck" was also picked up for an episode on an ABC Family Network TV show called "Knock First".

Avi Vinocur
New York

Melodic Acoustic Pop-Folk with Poetic Lyrics

Avi Vinocur is sometimes with a band and sometimes all by himself! And thus is the paradox.

At 21 years old, Avi Vinocur has carved out an impressive list of credentials for one so young: he opened for the Beatles at Shea Stadium in 1965, he talked John Lennon into the cover art for the Sgt. Pepper album, he was taught how to hit a ball by Bobby Thomson (who won the pennant for the New York Giants in 1951 with the single swing of a bat), he was awarded the MBE by Queen Elizabeth at the age of 6, and he set Dylan on the right track in 1963 when he said, For Petes sake, Robert--the times, they're a-changing, man!"

Unknown and Famous Songs of Joni Mitchell

Sensation-including 3 songs of a young inspired Joni Mitchell-songs she never released before ( approved by Joni, Sony ATV) If it is out of stock it comes in a short time. (also for download)

3 UNRELEASED!!!We had no intentions to make CD's when we started as a duo for Cafe's, but a demo led to an invitation to USA and that inspired us to make the first CD: A tribute to Joni Mitchell. This invitation led us to some unreleased songs from a very young and inspired Joni Mitchell and that is reason enough to release 13 "new" fantastic songs. 3 never released before and never arranged before and 10 hits inspired by our universe. A case of you with organ and a piano from heaven.(also on other tracks.)
Conversation with electric guitar and slide and radio-hit potential.
"WHOA. I'll say! I just listened to the clip of "The Way It Is" on the site, and just the 2 minutes I got to hear blew my mind! In addition to Christina's superb vocal, there's some very psychedelic guitar work! When was this song written? Sounds like it was written around the same time as STAS.
Thanks for sharing this with us, (name!) I'll be buying at least one copy of this CD -- and that's based on just 2 minutes of this one song. Can't wait to listen to the rest!!
