Stereophile har fått på nöten för att de recenserar tweaks lite väl okritiskt (som många andra Hifi-tidningar, för övrigt). Stereophiles grundare, Gordon Holt, skrev 1987 en ganska intressant artikel i ämnet som finns att beskåda på http://www.stereophile.com/asweseeit/110/index.html

John Atkinsson får sig en släng av sleven bland annat. Undrar vad Holt tycker om tidningen nu.
