Vill ha tips på DVD skivor med klassisk musik.
(OBS Ej opera eller solister)

Hörde till min fasa att vissa DVD är överförda från VHS.
Vill därför ha bra ljud + bra bild.

Jag är allätare, men gärna DVD med mycket dynamik så man får motionera högtalarna hemma. ;-)

Arthaus har endel DVD skivor med bra ljud, dvs PCM 48kHz sampling
som är mycket bättre än både Dolby Digital och DTS. Dynamiken
är lika bra som på CD.

Jag köper främst opera på DVD, har bara Karajan / Strauss
Alpsymfonin (Sony) på DVD med orkestermusik. Ljudet på
denna är inget att skryta på (Dolby digital). Sedan har
jag Bach H-moll mässa (TDK) och den har bättre ljud, men
inte heller den i PCM. Är nöjd med mina Arthaus operor.

Varför inte prova på Mahler eller Beethovens symfonier på
Arthaus.

AIX Records har ju bra skivor inspelade i hög kvalitet. DVD-Video på ena sidan och DVD-Audio på den andra. Med en vanlig DVD-spelare får du DD och DTS tillsammans med bild, samt PCM Stereo utan bild i bra kvalitet. Har du desutom en spelare som är DVD-Audio-kompatibel kan du spela MLP-spåret (96/24/5.1) utan bild på den.

Något helt annat, Vangelis "Mythodea". Trots att det är "vanlig" DVD så är ljudet bra, samtidigt som det är en föreställning som har orsak till att finnas på bild. Bra filmat och klippt, och musik som inte är vanlig Vangelis utan mer Holst/Orff.
