A key are in the market place at the moment, is flat panel technology or more specifically the need for sleeker, more discreet, simplistic speaker design.
The only draw back is that historically there has been a shorfall between the look/size and the sound quality. Unfortunately there are specific rules that need to be adhered to if the end result is to sound any good.

What B & W have managed to do is come up with the right look and a design that pushes the envelope in the sound quality stakes.

The range consists of three different speakers, FPM4,5 and 6, which are designed to match three different plasma sizes ie: 42,50 and 60". The drive unit design on all models incorporates the patented Kevlar mid/bass units, Nautilus tube loaded tweeter and Flowport technology.
There are a number of braket and stand options and all models can form surround sound systems.
