Har sökt på forumet men hittar inget riktigt svar (även om frågan har ställts).

Jag undrar om NAD S500 spelar CD-R och kopieringsskyddaded CD`s (alltså inte 500i)? Anledningen att jag undrar är att det i specifikationen för S500i står att den klarar CD-R/RW vilket antyder att det inte fungerade med S500. Går detta i så fall att fixa ?

CD-R lär väl fungera i alla fall... Nu VET jag inte, men den enda spelare som inte klarar CD-R är väl Sony XB940? Det borde funka på andra... CD-RW är alltid lite mera kinkigt. kanske kan du hitta nåt på www.audioreview.com eller på www.nad.dk

"...Unfortunately, the S500 refused to read a couple of CDs, such as Massive Attack's "Mezzanine" and the OST to "Stigmata" Both my demo unit and the dealer's demo player couldn't read the discs. It was also sporadic in reading a number of other CDs.
Control logic was wierd. Pressing rewind once went to the previous track, not the beginning of the current track. To start a song over, one has to press RWD once, then FF. There's no repeat function. Overall a very nice "round earth" unit for certain tastes. Too smooth for me... Also, not being able to read Massive Attack's "Mezzanine" is a definate drawback hehe.
If the S500 can read all your discs, it's definately one to consider."

Min gamla s500 modell äldre spelade de flesta CD-R utan problem.
