What would happen if Albedo's HL1.2 and 2.2 models gained bigger woofers? The answer is the HL3.4 whose Helmholine shows all its power in managing high volumes while maintaining the detailed bass textures transmission lines are known for. To limit the height of the cabinet, the woofers' wave guide is folded and uses the short metal plinth of the base as additional cubic volume for the acoustic resonator filter. The elliptically shaped cabinet is a special high-density well-damped sandwich to be vibrationally neutral. The lateral enclosure panels are mould-pressed and come in either striped ebony or striped walnut veneer.
All ceramic Accuton driver sare linked to a sophisticated crossover that ensures the best linearity of amplitude and phase for a time-coherent reproduction. Moreover, the crossover was developed with tube amplifiers in mind. The impedance curve is very smooth across the audio range and never dips below 4 ohms.
The crossover is an acoustic first order, the drivers are a 1.2" tweeter, 5" midrange and 2 x 6.5" woofers. Sensitivity is 89dB, bandwidth 35 to 20.000Hz, weight is 66kg/ea. and dimensions are 62 x 25 x 115cm.
