Jag lyssnar på Pekka Pohjola, jazzbasist och klassisk kompositör. Upptäckte nyss att han varit död i nästan två år, han blev bara 56 år.

Jag såg honom i slutet på 70-talet på Errols eller Nefertiti. Det är bland det mest otroliga jag upplevt i musikväg, då såg vi nästan allt som hände på scener i Göteborg och den där konserten har etsat sig fast ordentligt. Jag och kompisen var fullständigt golvade, var det över huvud taget möjligt att spela sån musik...

Har just börjat på Chicago II

efter att ha lyssnat igenom Chicago Transit Authority


Elusive Disc tar bara 19,99 USD per album. Tyvärr tillkommer frakt med ungefär lika mycket, men totalvärdet var uppenbarligen tillräckligt lågt för att slippa alla pålagor.

Kul att jämföra med mitt första album som jag köpte så snart det kom ut (för 41 år sedan) som har gått på cirkulation till mina kompisar som hade rullbandspelare, och det var nästan alla på den tiden.
Efter de vanliga 3+3+2 varven på var sida i skivtvätten låter det gamla närapå likvärdigt. Jag blir nyfiken och ska nog välja ut ett spår och rippa från båda och analysera med MasVis. Har de komprimerat den återutgivna?

Fängslande musik. Jag kommer inte ihåg hur jag träffade på Pekka Pohjola, men hösten 1993 köpte jag två LP av honom, som jag spelar då och då.

Just nu snurrar första LP av två från Beatles vita album tyvärr var skiva två förvunnen när jag hittade den i en loppisbutik men en 5:a var den värd trots allt, är det någon som har ett extra ex av skiva två?
