Min simpla ljudnivåmätare indikerar runt 60 dB vid avspänd samtalston med enstaka toppar strax över 70 dB.
Den trafikerade gatan utanför är regnblöt just nu.
Med öppen vädringslucka mäter jag upp en bakgrundsnivå på 40-42 dB vid lyssningsplatsen. Instrumentet är inte graderat under 40 dB, men det ser ut att indikera under 35 dB med vädringsluckan stängd förutom enstaka impulsljud.
