Min erfarenhet är att även sandfyllda metallstativ ger resonanser, men visst det är bättre än ofyllda.
Jag föredrar stativ i MDF och sand.

Jag har upplevt betoningar i ljudet, som försvunnit med andra stativ (mdf och sand).
