Sitter här och pillar i ordning en gammal bärbar dator till en bekant som ville ha något att surfa med.

Kom då på tanken; behöver man ha något anti-spyware program installerat eller är det så enkelt att dagens spyware inte går på W98-maskiner i nämnnvärd utsträckning?

Ad-aware hade som systemkrav Win 2000 men det orkar inte denna burk med.

Jag skulle inte tro att de inte gick på Win 98.Eller med andra ord du behöver AntiSpyware. Mvh Kristofer

Eller kör Xubuntu eller nån annan lättvikts Linux-dist. Då slipper du bry dig så mycket om virus mm.

Ha, Windows 98 är världens bästa antivirus program.
Ingen som gör sig jobb att attakera detta operativsystem längre.
Min gamla far har haft W98 och bredband i de tre senaste åren utan några problem.
Likaså en arbetskompis.
