Har kommit på mig själv att ibland leta efter skivor av vissa producenter.
Är det fler än jag som har favoritproducenter?

Jag blir nästan alltid intresserad av plattor producerade av Daniel LaNois, Allen Toussaint och Bob Johnstone t.ex. Och Phil Spector förstås.

Inte för att jag letar efter dessa herrar men jag finner att väldigt ofta är det de här som har producerat många av de skivor jag lyssnar mest på:

Tommy LiPuma! En kvalitetsproducent som jag letade efter förr. Vet inte om han producerar så mycket nu (71 år gammal). Letade....hittade..Randy Crawford And Joe Sample, Feeling Good....åhå måste nog skaffa den då.

Ofta mycket luftiga arrangemang och rikt på rumsakustik (men inte burkigt utan trivsamt, autentiskt). Och ofta lite jazzigt men lättsmält. Michael Franks, George Benson och otroligt många fler.

Bob Ezrin lyckades alltid få till schyssta arrangemang på det han producerade åt t.ex. Alice Cooper & KISS.

Daniel LaNois är ju också mycket duktig på lite "glesare" musik.
Den som söker han letar.

Rik Pekkonen som producerat bla de flesta av Crusaders skivor och mängder av annan bra fusionsmusik genom åren. Han skapade ett sound som var luftigt, transperant som var lätt att känna igen.
