Our 303 boards

We don't use the original transistors, they don't exist anymore. But
we use transistors with better or equivalent specifications. All the
passive components are of the best industrial Audio grade. The
layout is based on the original to make them mechanical and wire
compatible. THe circuit layout is also based on the original, but
there are some changes. You can select the input sensitivity with a
jumper, 0.5, 1.5 or 5 V. Not by a resistive network, but by changing
the gain. In this way the noise is further reduced. The Pcb
accommodate larger output resistors and a better inductor. Also you
can change the current limit. It will deliver 80 Watts in 4 Ohm
instead of the standard 28 Watts in 4 Ohm. The tracks on the Pcb are
wider where its counts. There is also room on the Pcb for further
modifications, Constant Current diodes and a different output
transistor configuration, but we think they are out of scope
concerning the 303.
