Singer/songwriter, anti-folk guitar slinger from upstate NY, Sean Rowe definitely breaks the rules when it comes to the solo acoustic thing. As Don Wilcock from the Troy Record put it:

caroline was an original mentor to the indigo girls, who do a duet with her on this album. she also has big fans in bonnie raitt and the allman brothers. susan werner describes her songs as "going places no one else does." a regular on the festival circuit, caroline is like catie curtis and patty larkin in terms of having a beautiful voice and the unique songs that perfectly fit that voice. this is her first studio album and was named by performing songwriter magazine as top ten indy release of the year, highly recommended

Not only does she play a mean left-handed guitar, but the rawness in her voice seems to ring true straight through you, as do her heart wrenching lyrics describing her walk through life. She has been playing guitar since she was 12 years old and eventually went on to play lead guitar in various rock bands, but she was always driven to pursue her own sound and voice. She finally completed her full length CD with the late legendary music producer John Herron. Their collaboration together would be his final project. Two years in the making, it's a record that should be heard by all.
