Madeleine King - Feet On The Ground
A rich blend of original acoustic songs, at times haunting and at times rockin', delivered with a smooth angelic voice and the stylings of guitars, both electric and acoustic, fiddle, mandolin, drums, and more
Madeleine King is a singer/songwriter whose music and personality form an instant bond with her audience. Her Midwestern roots and longtime California home base have found their way into her music, resulting in a mature eclectic style. Madeleine's music covers a wide range from soul-touching love songs to blues and jazz infused get-up-on-your-feet-and-dance tunes. Her debut cd "Feet On The Ground" is a wonderful collection of originals, featuring Madeleine on vocals, guitar and mandolin and a wonderful cast of musician friends. These include Chad Clouse on fiddle, Bob Stolkin on guitar and vocals, Keeter Stuart on vocals, and the amazing Kevin Harris on just about every instrument in the book - bass, drums, guitar, banjo, you name it.

Amélie-les-crayons Le Chant des Coquelicots
French original songs, refreshing and inspired. piano, double bass, accordion and Amélie singing.
Amélie started as a solo piano/voice singer in bars and pubs in Lyon, France. Then she met her 3 acolites; that's piano, double bass and accordeon players. She started touring over her region, then out all over France. She won many prizes as an author and composer.
Each time she had a gig, the audience was absolutely (and imediately) enraptured by the amusing side of her lyrics and the freshness and happiness she gave on the stage. After a huge success at Printemps de Bourges (most famous festival in France) in april 2004 and the double prize at Montauban Festival (French authors & composers awards festival) she released her new album EP "Et Pourquoi les Crayons ?" and started a tour over France, Swizerland, Belgium and, hopefully, Canada which will end in august 2006.

Carol Rossio Nuit et Jour
Sultry vocal jazz with Parisian pizazz.
Carol Rossio performs jazz and pop with a French flair - ooh la la! Rossio's second CD release, Nuit et Jour, is a charming collection of jazz standards in French plus Cole Porter tunes de toutes les choses Parisiennes.
"Chanteuse and incorrigible Francophile Rossio has finished another album of finger-snapping balladry and romantic jazz, Nuit et Jour..." - Willamette Week
"With the help of such top-flight jazz cats as Tom Grant and Dave Captein, Rossio pays loving tribute to the flavor of Paris with a program of Cole Porter, cabaret tunes and jazz standards sung in French. She's celebrating the release of her new CD Nuit et Jour..." - The Oregonian

Louise Taylor Velvet Town
Great late night jazz/blues grooves mixed with Folk stylings and smokey vocals- a huge talent that could be compared to Norah Jones.
If awards were given out for smoldering sensuality in the music of female singer/songwriters, Louise Taylor would have a mantle full. The narratives on Taylor's new album Velvet Town are rich with the emotional intensity of full-grown womanhood - and Taylor delivers them with all of the keen insight, worldly wisdom and survivor's pride that richness implies.
Combining poetic sophistication with a husky, powerful voice that thrives on bluesy nuance, a deft mastery of the acoustic guitar and an enigmatically commanding presence, Taylor's recorded performances are gems of sophistication and soul. Fans of Patty Griffin, Cassandra Wilson and Norah Jones should hear Velvet Town. It's Louise Taylor's best album to date.
