Karen Savoca
In The Dirt

"It's soul power, that's what I'd call it." - puremusic.com

Bone-and-sinew strong compositions... a must-have for fans and a great introduction for the uninitiated" - Performing Songwriter

"Another exquisite example of Savoca's work" - Edmonton Journal

PUREMUSIC.COM -IN THE DIRT • Karen Savoca

It's a mystery how some artists will speak to your very soul. Reach right in there, bypass your mind and touch your heart, and before you know it, you're laughing or crying, or both. That's a mystery.

It's soul power, that's what I'd call it. And Karen Savoca embodies this quality so rare. There's way more here than meets the ear. Like Susan McKeown or Leslie Ritter, what makes her one of my favorite singers has to do with who she is; you hear the magnificence of the person.

Karen Savoca
All My Excuses

Karen's 5th eclectic album ~ 12 new songs of love and longing, featuring Pete Heitzman, T-Bone Wolk & special guest Greg Brown

She sings with an inherent sense of fun, drawing the listener willingly into her world - an emotionally-charged celebration of life and all its ups and downs. -- Steve Edge, The Rogue, Vancouver, BC

ALL MY EXCUSES is Karen Savoca's graceful new record featuring Pete Heitzman, T-Bone Wolk, and guest appearances by Greg Brown.

ALL MY EXCUSES dances through the realms of desire, loneliness, and betrayal. Exploring the wanderings and longings of the heart... "chasing off the shadows, left behind when you were here"

With the rolling guitar of Pete Heitzman and the thumping back bottom bass of T-Bone Wolk , one song is deeply textured, another is as simple as a front porch jam.
