The Chris Vestre Group Jazz Camp

Guitar, vibes, bass and drums -- jazz ranging from groove-oriented to abstract.

The Chris Vestre Group is a quartet with vibes, bass, drums and guitar. Chris writes original tunes that groove, swing, bossa and freak out. An 8-month stint at a local club fomented the current lineup of Chris Maresh (bass), Aaron Lack (vibes) and Jon Greene (drums) and the group continues to grow together along with Chris's compositional skills.

"Jazz Camp" was recorded in a single day in July of 2004 and features original tunes that range from abstract to groovy.

Chris Bergson Band
Another Day

"If you like the music of Coltrane, Muddy Waters and The Band, you will definitely like the Chris Bergson Band...Bergson's guitar work is magnificent and his voice is aged and full of soul. " - Rootstime

Bergson's enthusiasm pours forth with a message that ranges from James Brown to James Taylor. Funk, soul, blues, folk and delectable jazz come together seamlessly.”
- Jim Santella, All About Jazz

“On Another Day, Chris Bergson makes his thin-line Gibson sound fat and funky in true Big Easy style, pays tribute to Curtis Mayfield with sweet double-stops, and picks angular blues-bop lines like a tightly wound New York hipster. Bergson has tone and vibe to spare.”
- Andy Ellis, Guitar Player

“Bergson’s vocals are warm and personal. ‘Come and Gone’ simmers; gorgeous ballads ‘Another Day’ and ‘High Above the Morning’ are deep country soul.”
- Tom Hyslop, Blues Revue

Chris Brown and Kate Fenner
Songs

A mixture of roots, folk, country, blues and rock by two of North America's most thoughtful and socially conscious artists.

Chris Brown and Kate Fenner have been making music together for half of their respective lives. Beginning in their teenage years, they founded the legendary Canadian band, The Bourbon Tabernacle Choir, whose well-traveled road at the end of its ten-year existence led them to New York City, where they have made music ever since.

Chris and Kate's most recent album, O Witness, was met with great critical reviews upon its release in Canada, in 2001. The album is their fourth release following: Other People's Heaven (1997) and Geronimo (1999), and a live album, Great Lakes Bootleg (2000).

Chris Burton Jácome
Pa'lante

An unforgettable Flamenco Guitar Album that brings new Passion, Power and Excitement to this incredible Spanish art. Perfect CD to drive to.

Chris Burton Jácome joins the ranks of flamenco guitar masters..." Scott Barker-Tucson Lifestyle Magazine

If you are familiar with my past work...namely, "Motivación", you are in for a surprise. It will be obvious after just one listen through that I have grown enormously in my musical art. If you are a new friend I encourage you to give Motivación a listen, you will not regret it. Not only will you have some more great tunes to listen to, but you will also be able to fully appreciate how much I have grown as a musician and producer to be able to create this project.

You will find so much in this CD. Treat yourself to a set of headphones to enjoy this CD with. There will be songs that you love right away, others might grow on you...and still others might grab you when you least expect. Be prepared for anything because I didn't hold back! Whatever I thought up is represented here, from udus and zarbs, to electric guitars and duets. All of it is honest and true to my heart...I am now ready for it to touch yours.

Chris Holcombe
The Trouble With Loving Hurricanes

A smoother male version of Bonnie Raitt with the stylistic restlessness of k.d. lang and the airy, simple vocals of Chet Baker. Classic approach with a modern edge. Adult contemporary stylings shaded with blues, soul, and classic pop.

The Trouble With Loving Hurricanes" features 4 brand new songs from singer/songwriter Chris Holcombe.

The opening "Mississippi Rain" features the laid back groove of lazy summer days, with an evocative lyric about lust, sex, confusion, and heartbreak. "Better Mistakes" continues the midtempo soul vein, regretfully detailing a one night stand that could've been something more. The CD turns decidedly darker with the minor key, hard-hitting, gospel/blues of "Dirty Blood" before ending with an emotional, vulnerable reading of the Counting Crows' "A Long December."
