Samann Mofongo
Manny G comes from a musical family. His father, Manolin Gonzalez, was a well-known Latin/Jazz saxophonist and flutist who played with Ismael Rivera, Tito Puente and Mario Rivera. Manny G's uncles (Jorge - Trumpet, Emilio Odalis - Bass, Rhadames - Sax) and grandfather (Manolo - Piano) all performed together and in various groups (Orquesta Tambora, Merengue 81).

Techno, Electronic
Dominican Republic; home of Merengue, Bachata and the birth place of Reggaeton. David "Oz" Gonzalez was a pioneer of Reggaeton in D.R. He noticed a dearth in techno and hence started the group Nojom. Now techno is well represented.
