Julie Wolf
Walk the Worn Out Floor

Straight-to-the-heart vocals communicate the essence of each song with no extraneous jive or histrionics. Accompanying herself on piano with a select circle of friends assisting here and there, the mood is intimate, late night, last set

Julie Wolf is a multi-instrumentalist and singer who, besides making music of her own, has established herself as a sensitive, eclectic, collaborative, first-call side player. She has performed and/or recorded with luminaries in the jazz, folk, funk and rock/pop worlds, including Ani DiFranco (4 1/2 years as DiFranco's keyboardist), Maceo Parker, Bruce Cockburn (Julie is currently on tour with Cockburn), Dar Williams, Catie Curtis, Kris Delmhorst, Laura Love, jazz singer Rhiannon, and many others. She's brought her memorably simple, pure musicality to stages across the world, as well as to a growing number of critically acclaimed recordings. Preceding the globe trotting touring and recording that has kept her busy for the last decade, Wolf had a seasoned jazz life, having been part of Seattle's jazz community since the mid 1980's . There, she collaborated with Wayne Horvitz, Robin Holcomb, Bill Frisell, Ralph Towner, Julian Priester, Jay Clayton, Jerry Grannelli and others. Her live gigs and recording dates have taken her all over North America, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand

Sharon Montgomery
Let's Misbehave

A hip selection of swingin' standards and gorgeous ballads backed by the best guitarist and bass player you ever heard.

While this is Sharon Montgomery's first solo project, she's been around a long time. Audiences across the United States will remember Sharon as one-third of the popular vocal trio MONTGOMERY, PLANT, & STRITCH, with whom she toured for seven years during the 1980's. This fun trio swung its way through some of the biggest jazz festivals in America and Europe, including the JVC Festivals in Nice and at Carnegie Hall, the Newport Jazz Festival, and the North Sea Festival in Den Hag, Holland. The group worked regularly at the Algonquin Hotel and the Cafe Carlyle in Manhattan, the Ritz in London, the Copley Plaza in Boston, and the famous Fairmont Hotels in San Francisco, Dallas, and Chicago. During their time together, this trio accumulated a steadfast and loyal following across the country and into Europe.
