Posted - 2007/12/15 : 17:23:05 Hi there ,
This is my first post in this section , and I want to present my OTA using just one IRF150 per chanel ,working in class A. Each chanel has its own power supply .

This amplifier doesn' t use any feedback . It has got a bias current of 3 Amp . The sound getting out of the IRF150 is very realistic , very dynamic , as if you could touch each instrument that you listen to . It isn' t a version of Jean Hiraga's 8W Monster . I am going to build it also , on a battery version . On the Monster Amp , there are 8 transistors per chanel .

It sounds lovely on my FE208 Fostex Full range drivers ( 98 dB ) . I am using a tube preamp to drive properly the OTA .
