Här kommer nu det efterfrågade hornet för små element.

Hornet har inte försetts med färstärkningsstag
eller med hörnavrundningar. Det är upp till
byggaren hur man vill lösa de problemen.
Hörnavrundningar är inte nödvändiga för lågbasen.

Eftersom hornet är veckat kommer varje veck att
verka som ett lågpass-filter. Därför kommer hornets
frekvensomfång att begränsas uppåt till runt 200hz.

Elementets slutna låda skall minskas ner till mellan
1 liter och 5 liter beroende på element och smak.
Enligt skisser och ritning är den förberedd för 5 liters
volym. Volymen minskas genom att fylla lådan med
lager av spånskiva eller liknande.

Jag har angett tjockleken på skivorna till 19 mm. Det är
det vanligaste tjockleken att bygga med förr i tiden.
Går man upp i tjocklek bör måtten ändras så att funktionen
blir som tänkt.

Den första delen av hornet (2 meter) behöver inte förstärkas då konstruktionen
är sådan att styrkan blir mycket god. När alla bitarna i första delen
är ihoplimmade kommer de tillsammans motsvara en 170 mm massiv
träklump där 2 meter horn slingrar sig fram i.

Öppning för att komma åt elementet finns inte med i beskrivningen.
Jag lämnade det för egen fantasi.

Så här ser den förenklade hornutvigdningen ut.
Den är på 50cm segment som ForumHorn-2 bygger på.

Så här ser siffrorna ovan ut visuellt.
Hornet här är kvadratiskt. Måtten stämmer exakt med ForumHorn-2.

Tänk på att den inte är provbyggd ännu så vissa mått KAN vara
lite felberäknade. Det är smällar man får ta ibland....

Frekvenskurvor.

Mellan nedanstående frekvenskurvor kan det bli
beroende på vilket element man väljer.
Skillnaden mellan kurvorna är 3 och 6 i Bl-faktor.
Optimal Bl-faktor ligger på 8 om jag inte minns fel.

På grund av att hornet är veckat kommer kurvan över
200hz att vika av tidigare.
