LF 90 & LF 220
Modular Low Frequency Absorbent System
When listening to music from speakers in small rooms it is difficult to obtain a uniform representation of the low frequencies (due to the long wavelengths in relation to the room and the speaker dimensions) if there is not sufficient low frequency absorbtion in the room A room without enough absorbtion of the lower frequencies will sound "boomy" with an uneven distribution of the sound spectre. Certain chords and tones will get through at a higher level than others.
Furthermore there will be extinction phenomenons in different parts of the room and no tone control or subwoofer can change that. To absorb low frequency sounds it is not enough with soft surfaces, curtains or other common absorbents. No, to really withdraw the energy out of low frequencies in the room the absorbent must be designed in such a way that it has its own resonance at the frequencies where it should work.


LF90 and LF220 low frequency absorbents are the solution to Your problems! LF90 is a triangular shaped corner module and LF220 is a plane modul for wall mounting. The two can be combined to one unit which can be adjusted according to the requirements of Your room.
LF90 and LF220 delivers a broad and even absorbtion in the low frequency band.

LF90 and LF220 are built as frequency adjusted Helmholz resonators. They consists of MDF panelwork with drilled holes in an acoustically tuned box and can be delivered in any NCS colour.
