Mormors visor - Sådan är kärleken

Passionate swedish folkjazz mixed with the softness of an angel like singer and accoustic piano and bass.


The composer’s career started in the late 20´s when she improvised playing piano to a silent film in a movie theatre in a small Swedish village called Strömstad, at the Swedish west coast.

Born in 1917 Vivan Myhrvold-Lassen still composes and remains very active. The songs on this album strech from 1940 to 2004, a 64 year carreer few artists today have achieved.

The tunes are performed by three young and up and coming swedish musicians. Jessica Norberg is singing. Earlier she has performed with top swedish names such as Robyn, Carola, Cajsalisa Ejemyr and several others. The pianist is Andreas Landegren and the bass player is Jacob Sävhammar. They are very sought after musicians in Sweden regularly performing in the tv show Combo. You will hear more from them in the future.
