Nate Allman - Africa
Groovy, Bluesy, and Honest is what you are gettin with "Africa" 3 of Nates best in one little package
What’s in a name? When it comes to music it’s like people and their pets. You know how people say that pet owners look like their dog, or rabbit or lizard? In the same way a musician’s name tells of what their sound is like. Think about it, Ray Charles just has a jazzy, bluesy ring to it, David Wilcox sounds like strength, thoughtfulness and complexity made easy by a guy on a North Carolina porch. And while there are exceptions to this rule, (most notably Prince, who can’t figure out what his name is while he plays in those skin tight buttless outfits) Nate Allman is not one of them.

Evan Marshall The Long Way Home EP
Genuine Americana storytelling, ranging in sound from Nashville to Austin and Cailfornia. "Evan’s songs are rich and dark, and his sweet voice pulls you into the stories he tells." - Martha Bassett, Musician of the Year 2006, Relish Magazine
Evan Marshall’s The Long Way Home EP is a striking debut that will make new fans ask the question, “Why haven’t I heard of him before?” In the vein of Hank Williams, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Bruce Springsteen, Patti Griffin, Gillian Welch, and Ryan Adams– Evan’s music blends the spirit of hard country with smooth, earthy vocals and the gravitas of folk storytelling. 2006 Musician of the year*, Martha Bassett, says of Evan’s music, the “songs are rich and dark, and his sweet voice pulls you into the stories he tells.”
