Singer/songwriter: Jennifer Getz - Makin' History

NOMINATED FOR FEMALE SINGER/SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR, 2005 LA MUSIC AWARDS, and on the FRONT PAGE OF THE LA DAILY NEWS... The sounds of Jennifer Getz are shaped in a raw, rootsy style with an organic rock feel.

Jennifer Getz's expressive voice, style of writing and arrangement of song's has put her in a category all by herself. Although she's been musically compared to Bob Dylan and Sheryl Crow, she definitely has her own sound and style. Not only does she play a mean left-handed guitar, but the rawness in her voice seems to ring true straight through you, as do her heart wrenching lyrics describing her walk through life. She has been playing guitar since she was 12 years old and eventually went on to play lead guitar in various rock bands, but she was always driven to pursue her own sound and voice. She finally completed her full length CD with the late legendary music producer John Herron. Their collaboration together would be his final project. Two years in the making, it's a record that should be heard by all
