Hej har en liten fundering angående likriktarör.

Jag har sett på många rördesigner att man använder likriktarrör och det är ju förståeligt att man använde det förr när det inte fanns dioder men är det bättre eller sämre att använda dessa i nya rörförstärkare?

någon som vet skillnaden?
I used to play with mercury and when I broke a tube, I always tasted the cathode and the getter because they tasted weird...
