6N1P som sitter i ARC VS55, finns det någon europeisk ekvivalent som skulle funka i detta steg?

I have not had the chance to check the plate dissipation Ron is running the 6N1P in his DRD amp, but if you are wanting to run a 6DJ8 make sure it will be in specs, or adjust it accordingly. Given the nature of the circuit, you may or may not get that much benefit from running expensive NOS tubes in this position.
As for the other types "(ECC81, 82 or 83)", no. These are different animals. If you would like to redesign the amp to work with them, you could probably do it. They are not plug in compatible in this design. People sub these tubes in guitar amps because they dig the distortion.

Det finns flera ekvivalenter. 6922, militärspecade 7308 osv. Mkt populärt rör.
Men ett av de mest mikrofoniska rören...
