Har tydligen kommit en uppgradering av denna eminenta förstärkare, någon som installerat eller vet något mer? |

Jag har inte hört nån som blivit uppgraderad än, men detta är vad som görs i alla fall...

Och det ska inte spela nån roll hur gammal ens I-5 är, alla kan uppgraderas, och jag förmodar att ljudkvaliten kommer öka ett snäpp på stärkaren. Sen så var det inte några jättepengar som den gick på heller 175 USD.

Figge detta svar fick jag av SimAudio, låter halvkrångligt. Jag glömde dock att skriva hur gammal min I-5 är, prova maila till Sim med serienummer och fråga om det gör nån större skillnad på din I-5:a.
Any i5 unit can benefit from the available upgrade.
To have your unit upgraded, we had to create for our International market
a very simple but specific procedure to follow:
1- You have to inform us (info@globe-trotter.biz) that you will be sending
an i5 unit by COURIER for an upgrade: (UPS, FedEx, DHL). You will provide
us with a courier tracking number & all the information regarding the
ship back address. PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO INCLUDE YOUR TEL NUMBER.
2-You will have to include your original invoice with the shipment.
3-You will have to include a note with the unit & invoice) that you are
sending the unit for an UPGRADE).
4-We will send you a Pro Forma invoice with our bank details. ONLY Wire
Transfer will be accepted as a method of pre-payment. Before proceeding
with the Upgrade work on the i5 unit, we will have to have received full
upgrade payment ($199.00usd).
5-After we notify you by Email that the upgrade is completed (approximately
4 to 6 weeks after it is RECEIVED), you will have to notify a courier
Coe to proceed with the pick up the upgraded i5 unit. A new box will used
for the shipment.
6-The courier Coe will have the responsibility to provide you with a tracking
number.
ALL TRANSPORTATION (BOTH WAYS) CUSTOM, DUTIES & UPGRADE CHARGES ARE YOUR
FULL RESPONSIBILITY. SIMAUDIO WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY UNITS SENT COLLECT.
