Det blir bara bättre och bättre...

SACDs

Concord was established in the '70s by lovers of jazz music and still operates as a musician's label first. They have always been known for outstandingly clean recordings and truly fine performances. These are their first five SACDs releases and we're expecting many more!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Art Blakey And The Jazz Messengers - Keystone 3 (hybrid multichannel) (Concord) $17.99
This 1983 recording was the last appearance of Wynton Marsalis as a member of the Jazz Messengers. High-powered bop in the familiar style of the Jazz Messengers!

The Stan Getz Quartet - Pure Getz (hybrid multichannel) (Concord) $17.99
High-quality jazz standards fill this 1982 release from Getz and his quartet (Jim McNeely, Marc Johnson and Victor Lewis). Getz performs with his trademark amount of swing and lyrical flair!

Tito Puento - Goza Mi Timbal (hybrid multichannel) (Concord) $17.99
A mix of originals and jazz standards comprise this 1989 release from timbale master Tito Puente. Lots of great soloing, as usual, from Tito's ensemble.

The Jim Hall Quartet - All Across The City (hybrid multichannel) (Concord) $17.99
Hall's 1989 release blends contemporary and mainstream jazz is one of his best recordings, filled with his subtle guitar lyricism while being amply backed by an excellent quartet.

Tania Maria - Come With Me (hybrid multichannel) (Concord) $17.99
Maria's third recording for the Concord label from 1982 blends Brazilian pop and jazz. Maria's spirited vocals and keyboard work are supported by a sextet as they work through seven originals and a rendition of Gershwin's "Embraceable You".
