Är det någon här som använder Pro-ject Stream Box S2 Ultra?
Det tycks vara någon "bugg" som gör att den ibland tappar signalen, eller kanske snarare upphör att skicka signalen vidare till DAC:en.
Detta händer framförallt då jag har pausat uppspelningen. Då blir det till att starta om.
Det händer oavsett om jag kör över WIFI eller via WLAN.
Det finns ju massor av inställningar av apparaten (via dess app) som hur mycket den skall buffra etcetera, men inte heller det verkar helt eliminera beteendet. |

Det verkar som att en omladdning av apparatens programvara resulterade i att den numera funkar utan omstart även efter lång pausning.
Kan ju vara värt att prova för andra med samma lilla problem.
Get a USB Thumb Drive #8226; Format it as #8220;FAT32#8221; using the MBR partition table. Please note that MacOS often uses a different partition table by default! Please make sure to select the MBR partition table when formatting. #8226; Download this file http://repo.volumio.org/utils/factory_reset #8226; Please use Google Chrome or Firefox if the download doesn't start automatically #8226; Copy it on the Thumb Drive (make sure the name of the file is exactly "factory_reset") #8226; Turn off the Stream Box S2 Ultra and unplug the ethernet cable (if connected) #8226; Plug the thumb drive to one of the USB ports #8226; Turn on the Stream Box S2 Ultra #8226; IMPORTANT: During this phase the unit might restart multiple times and this factory reset will take about 5 minutes. #8226; The factory reset will be completed when the Net-LED starts blinking again |

Du kan väl "boota" om den och se om det hjälper.
Enligt manualen:

This function is intended only for experienced users who have knowledge about installing a system

caused by any change or manipulation with software of the unit. Regular updates of the supplied
software are managed in the Settings>System menu of the unit.
This button allows to boot into different Operating Systems that can be loaded into the internal memory of
the Stream Box S2 Ultra.
The Boot button allows to place the device in bootloader mode, allowing to reflash its software.
- With the device on, press continuously the Boot button for at least 5 seconds
- The device will enter "bootloader mode" and the red Led will start blinking
- You can now access the device as a normal storage device
To exit from Bootloader mode press the USB/PC button once, the LED will become blue.

IP-adressen till streamern har jag men det går inte att ansluta till den. Förmodligen för att den blev inställd på avstängd WIFI när den började strula och utan åtkomst via appen så kan jag inte ändra detta.
Jag får återgå till USB mellan dator och M Scalern. Den kopplingen är problemfri utan buggar och tappade signaler och ljudet är lika bra.
Lite synd på sextusen spänn bara... |

Kolla först i apparaten ifråga vilken IP-adress den har, leta sedan upp den i routern och "lås" den där. Starta om routern, klart. |

Oj! Ja nu med statisk IP tappade jag bort apparaten helt!

Prova med en statisk IP-adress!
Har löst många problem hos mig genom att "låsa" IP-adresserna i routern. |
